Why is sterilization important?

Every sterilized cat means dozens of lives saved
We, the volunteers of Cat Care Community, spend part of the donations specifically on the sterilization of street animals.

And it works! 🐾

Over the past 5 years, there have been noticeably fewer sick and dying kittens on the streets of Riga. More and more cats are sterilized. This means:
✅ less suffering
✅ fewer diseases
✅ fewer abandoned kittens

Every animal we operate on:
🔸 receives care
🔸 recovers in foster care
🔸 if feral — is released back
🔸 if friendly — gets a chance at a home life 🏡
